Color Analysis

Pink is often associated with females, as it considered very "girlie." Pink symbolizes innocence as hot pink symbolizes intensity and passion. Perhaps this has a large meaning in the plots of the Resident Evil games. In RE2, Claire was unknowing of the heinous crimes by Umbrella, and her outfit is soft pink. Pink is like a watered-down red, something that does not have much emotions buried inside. In CODE: Veronica she wears red. Once Claire discovered the truth of Umbrella, she switches to red, a color that is fierce, and symbolic to excitement, energy, strength, danger, and aggression. All these are emotions she was feeling due to her missing brother and another outbreak.

Pink can also mean nurture. In RE2, Claire gives Sherry her jacket as protection, and tells her it will be guardian angel. This is a very obvious act of being a mother-like figure. She watches over the girl, and in CODE: Veronica she protects and cares for Steve and Rodrigo, even though this is not her main duty.

Pink is considered a color of good health as well. Claire is a very healthy girl as far as we know, but her determination is what drives her. She remains healthy in order to succeed, and obviously could not if she was ailing or wounded.

Name Analysis

The first name of Claire has given the person a responsible, expressive, inspirational, and friendly personality.

Claire is very large inspiration to Sherry. Sherry looked up to Claire and depended on her almost the entire time in Raccoon City. The Redfield does feel responsible for Sherry, and many other people as well (Steve, Rodrigo, Chris). She would not have been such an inspiration for Miss Birkin had she not been the friendly, lively soul she is. Because she is so well-rounded it's easy to assume she has lots of friends in college and may even be considered popular.

Expression comes naturally to the person, and s/he is rarely at a loss for words; in fact, they have to put forth effort at times to curb an over-active tongue.

Claire can be quite the snarky girl at times. In Resident Evil 2 she makes no attempt to tell Brian Irons exactly what a messed-up man he is, but it is more in CODE: Veronica that we truly see how she reacts to people she doesn't like. She mouths-off to Alfred numerous times by degrading his facility and calling him a "cross-dressing freak." She even yells at Wesker by telling him Chris is good person, and it is the blonde clad who has things all wrong. These type of things end up getting Claire in trouble, but she is simply standing up for what she believes.

Self-confidence has made it easy for the person to meet others and they are well-liked for spontaneous, happy ways.

This factor goes both ways game-wise and fan-wise. Claire is a very well-liked character, mostly because she's a kick-ass, sweet chick. Same goes with game characters. Steve's attraction was very physical, but in the end, he began to love her because she made it easy for him to open-up, trust her, and believe together they could get through anything. Leon and Claire automatically click, because she was friendly with him and didn't argue (that much) when he had ideas or plans.

The person sincerely likes others and does not often experience loneliness; work and home-life are likely filled with association.

This is true. Claire could've very well told Sherry and Steve to shove it, and ran off to fen for herself. Instead, she took the time to protect them. Did she have to? No. Both caused her to slow-down, and she very well could've been killed because of them. But she cared, and that ultimately is what creates her personality.

Although the name Claire creates the urge to be reliable and responsible, it is emphasized that it frustrates through a scattered and emotional nature.

Claire is both a reliable and responsible person (must I mention Steve and Sherry again?). However, at the same time, she is quite frustrated with how she has to guide a certain person somewhere. Steve did this to her numerous times, causing strange expression form on her face. She even vocally asks, "What was that all about?" when Steve storms off in a bit of rage. Another time she puts a hand to her hip, tilting her head in both confusion and disbelief.

This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success.

When combined with the "last name" basically means family history. Claire's background is pretty faded, but her relationship with Chris alludes to a lack of parental guidance, which may be to why she's so caring towards Sherry. Also, it's her love for her brother, her closest family member, that actually leads her into the mess of Umbrella.
